THE CIRCLE takes us on an intimate and compelling journey into the lives of three cancer pateints and their families. We follow them through various stages of their battle--from the first reactions after an oinitial diagnosis... to struggles with treatments and the doctors providing them... to successes and setbacks... to remission or cure... to coming to terms with the word "terminal"... to saying goodbye and letting go. We find courage in their determination and learn from their discoveries. We celbrate their victories and mourn their losses. The people are real. Their fight is real. There is no prize money, no schemeing, no sabotage. "Winning" demands the best that the human spirit has to offer, since the stakes are literally life and death. Hosted by Henry DiCarlo (CBS/LA Morning News) and Stefanie Schaeffer (winner, "The Apprentice," season 6), this pilot was co-written and directed by Steve Harris with editing and effects by Kevin Vosecky.

TNT is the brainchild of radio personality Tim Burke, whose aim is to present the positive side of celebrity news, hearing from the celebrities themselves. Creative Edge was called upon to direct, shoot and produce the pilot. Guests on the premiere program included Severio Guerra (from "Becker"), and presidential impersonator/comedian Steve Bridges. |

ABOUT TOMORROW... "Real comfort and encouragement from real people who've lost someone they love." Fred Frank, president of Comfort Music and a long-time client and friend of Creative Edge Communications, had a vision to produce a practical resource that would offer consolation to grieving families. The result is "About Tomorrow," a 65-minute audio product written, recorded, and produced by Steve Harris. The project was shelved for a time as Steve's wife lost her battle with breast cancer. As time passed and the fog of grief began to lift, Steve felt ready to get back to work. However, it was no longer just part of his job; it was part of his journey toward healing. The program is built around interviews Steve recorded with more than 20 grieving people who had lost parents, husbands, wives, or children. Some of the deaths followed long illness; others were sudden and unexpected—a routine surgery gone wrong, a car accident... even a murder. Some had healthy relationships with the people they lost; others had “complications.” Their honest, open, and sometimes emotional comments offer those in grief the comfort of knowing that they're not alone… the confidence that someone does understand… the assurance that their feelings are normal. "I Thought I Was Covered." Child Welfare Insurance Brokers works exclusively for organizations and individuals who care for kids, plugging the holes in traditional insurance policies that can leave these agencies dangerously unprotected. Creative Edge produced a DVD that describes the program and its benefits. We rented the set used for "People's Court" and hired a cast to help us illustrate the plight of an inadequately-covered children's home executive.
